Three-Year-Old Room

Our three-year-old program is a well-balanced introduction to pre-k. We fully understand the needs of young children and their developmental processes. We also understand that three-year-olds need both independence and nurturing. Teachers and teacher’s aids are trained and educated in child development and education trends that keep us on top of the best-researched early care practices. We know that young children are impulsive and impatient and we work hard to be proactive and keep problems to a minimum. We understand that children of this age are testing and questioning everything and we strategically set the room up for exploration and inquiry. Much emphasis in this classroom is on building social and emotional skills needed to play and work in larger group settings. Language and literacy come alive and children see how we use authors and books to connect us to the real world and to help us in all learning domains.
